TFK cooking classes are officially taking off! This month, our first class is “The Art of French with Chef Erik Fischer.”
Chef Erik and I first met 20 some years ago when I was working at Patina in Los Angeles. Erik was just a kid on his way from his home in Germany to LA, specifically to Patina. He needed a place to stay and I had extra room. He didn’t speak fluent English back then, but what a compassionate and kind person! I will never forget his very special & delish apple strudel, still warm from the oven, left for me one afternoon. We recently reconnected after many years, and I’m thrilled to share this class with him!

salmon tar-tar with white truffle oil vinaigrette and french-baked crouton and chives….. sautéed beef tenderloins with whiskey-green peppercorn sauce, spätzle and asparagus….. champagne sabayons with berries and ice cream….. all paired with delicious wines
